SPAN LOADS

The software can automatically handle 5 load conditions:

    1. Ascent branch laden  - Descent branch empty
    2. Ascent branch empty - Descent branch empty
    3. Ascent branch laden  - Descent branch laden
    4. Ascent branch laden  - Descent branch laden
    5. Cars missing on ascent/descent branches

There is the possibility to handle further 10 different load conditions, in a completely interactive manual mode. Herebelow an example of span loads input table:

Four optional pushbuttons are provided next to the input cells. The default values are calculated by the software according to the general plant data . Anyhow, these values may be changed by entering the specific data directly into the cell.

Further three pushbuttons are provided next to the above buttons to select the type of load to be taken into consideration, to delete the selected load, to assign the load to a single span or to all the spans within a specific (ascent or descent) branch.

Load data input procedure:

    • Select the pushbutton relating to the required type of load
    • Select the pushbutton relating to the required setting mode
    • Enable the command by double click on the column (or the single cell) relating to the selected type of load.

REMARK:
The types of load selected in the above Table shall also be properly set into the Line Calculation Input Mask, otherwise, the program does not carry out the required test.
