PLANT DATA INPUT
Plant identification data shall be loaded into the input mask
The subsequent part of the mask is for rope data input:
- Hauling
rope
(compulsory)
- Tension rope
(optional)
- Aerial rope for remote controls (optional)
The "See Database Rope" pushbutton allows the automatic input of rope data. The user has just to select the specific data from the available Ropes Catalogue, which includes all the standard types of ropes for ropeway plants. Once enabled, the pushbutton shows the Ropes Catalogue here below, along with the instructions for rope selection :
The pushbuttons allow direct access to the Rope Data Table in the Catalogue: the rope section drawing displays, then, the structure of the rope along and relevant data table.
Rope selection is confirmed as follows:
Click on the selected diameter Confirm selection through pushbutton "Confirm data rope"
Confirmation makes the Catalogue mask close and the program return to the general data input mask. Now, the cells show the values relevant to the selected rope.
The subsequent part of the input mask ("technical data") concerns the description of the plant to be tested, providing the following inputs :
The meaning of the different options is manifest. Regarding the intermittent working plants of the "PULSE'" type, the following should be defined:
- Number of cluster cars present on ascent and descent branches
- Relating to every cluster, the number of cars and relevant equidistance
The technical data input continues with the following mask (compulsory filling in):
The final part of the input mask is for the input of data non strictly required by the test, with the exception of the values showing the max. admissible loads on the rollers.
