PLANT PARAMETER INPUT

The first section of the input mask serves for the loading of plant identification data.

The subsequent part of the mask serves for the loading of rope data:

- hauling rope                          (compulsory)
- carrying rope                         (compulsory)
- fune "zavorra"                        (compulsory)

There is the need, for the carrying rope, that the end anchoring method and, also, the value and location of the counterweight are shown


Similarly, the values for the haul and ropes are found

The pushbutton "Ropes File" makes it possible the automatic rope data input by just selecting the rope in the catalogue, which is inclusive of all the types of ropes normally used for the building of rope way systems. When enabled, the pushbutton shows the rope catalogue and the relevant selection instructions:

The pushbuttons make it possible to go direct to the rope data table in the catalogue: the rope section drawing displays, then the rope configuration and, on one side, the characteristic data table.  

Rope selection confirmation is through the following actions:

click on the required diameter or break load
with the "Conferma dati fune" (Rope data confirmation) push button

The confirmation pushbutton makes it possible to close the catalogue mask, return to the previous data input mask and fill in the fields with the selected rope values.

The subsequent part of the mask refers to the definition of the type and characteristics of the power unit being used.
