SINGLE SPAN TEST TABLES

Upon completion of the test carried out for a single span, there are the result tables available: a detailed table is for the parameters of the tested span, and the other tables are for the values of all the other spans which make up the line. In addition, there is a set of pushbuttons available to access the various tables and graphical representations of the configuration of the ropes in the tested span.

The meaning of pushbuttons is obvious and it makes it possible to analyse the results of the tests carried out relating to a span. It is also possible to define the datum values for the vertical rope-ground clearances tests. Such values can be displayed through the "See span…" pusbuttons

For those spans free from load, the following tables are available (for the ascent branch and the descent branch, respectively).

  1. Printout of the carrying ropes
  2. Printout of the carrying rope and the counter rope

If aerial haul rope supports are present, there is provided the table showing the pressures induced by the carrying-counter rope on the aerial haul rope supports in the tested span:

and if we want to further analyse the condition of the aerial hauling rope supports on the other spans (the spans free from load) , we can enable the following table: (select the span and depress the RUN key)

There is the possibility to have the graphical representation of the configuration assumed by the tested span. It is also shown the numerical table for the test of the vertical line clearances:

The <(test the clearances)> and <(eliminate the clearances)> pushbuttons enable displaying the line lengths where the datum clearances are not complied with for both the carrying ropes and the carrying-counter ropes. An example for the automatic test is offered.
