Normally the friction value is automatically handled by the software according to the general data. In some particular cases (i.e. the presence of more than two stations) is however possible to manually set the friction values.

In order to do this the user should follow this three simple steps:

• Set the friction type to use in the calculi ( % of rope’s pressure on sheave assembly or absolute value for each roller)
• Input the appropriate friction value in the input window
• Finally it’s possibile to assign the friction value to ALL the towers ( All Set button) or to a single tower (just double click on its id number).
